Network Expansion: Ethiopian Airlines Spreads Wings to Russia

Ethiopian Airlines will connect Africa and Russia with the launch of a new flight service between Addis Ababa and Moscow, Russia with effect from December 5, 2018.

The thrice-weekly service which will be linked to Istanbul service, will be operated with the ultra-modern Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

With the new service to Moscow, Ethiopian Airlines will connect Russia with 59 destinations in Africa, thereby facilitating better trade, investment and tourism relations between the two regions.

Moscow is Russia’s capital and its political, economic and cultural center. It is the most populated city not just in Russia but also in Europe.

Ethiopian Airlines is the fastest growing Airline in Africa. In its over 70 years of operation, it has become one of the continent’s leading carriers, unrivalled in efficiency and operational success.

Ethiopian Airlines operates ultra-modern and environmentally friendly aircraft including Airbus A350-900, Boeing 787-8, Boeing 787-9, Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 777-200LR.
