Just one year after it launched flight operations between Addis Ababa and Oslo in Norway, the airline has increased the flight frequency between the two cities.

From 11 December, 2018, Ethiopian Airlines will add extra weekly flights on the route bringing the total frequency to six times per week.

As with the current flights, the extra flights will be operated using Ethiopian’s Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.

Launched on 27 March 2017, the Oslo route has become a success. Ethiopian plans to make it a daily flight soon. It also plans to add new services to Oslo from Asmara in December 2018.

In addition to the passenger flights, Ethiopian Airlines has also started a fully dedicated freighter operation from Oslo to Guangzhou in China with effect from 11 October 2018.
