To ensure that passengers stay connected on board its Wi-Fi equipped aircraft, Air France has launched a new connectivity service called Air France CONNECT.

With the new service, customers can now access 3 Wi-Fi passes on their own personal devices including smartphones, tablets and computers throughout their flights.

Air France CONNECT offers two options: a free "Message" pass to send and receive Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, iMessage and WeChat messages and two fee-paying "Surf" and "Stream" passes to access the Internet on all Air France flights.

As soon as they arrive on board, after activating airplane mode on their device, customers can activate Wi-Fi and select the "AirFranceCONNECT" network. They will be automatically directed to the connect.airfrance.com connection portal.

For fee paying passes, Customers can pay for Surf and Stream passes by using various different forms of payment including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal or Flying Blue Miles.

By the end of 2018, Air France CONNECT, will be available on 22 long-haul aircraft and 8 short- and medium-haul aircraft, with an aim of equipping the entire fleet by the end of 2020.
