PaxEx: Delta Expands Pre-select Meal Service to More customers

To further enhance passenger experience, Delta is again expanding its popular pre-select meal program, giving more customers the ability to choose their meals in advance of their flight.
Delta One customers can now enjoy pre-select on all outbound routes from the U.S. to Europe and flights departing from AMS, CDG and LHR inbound to the U.S (beginning Sept. 26)
The pre-select meal service will also be available on select routes between the U.S. and Asia/Australia and on long-haul domestic routes where Delta One is offered.
Delta One customers flying these routes who aren't SkyMiles members are now eligible to participate in the program. All that's needed is a valid email address listed in their booking.
Customers in eligible markets will receive an email from Delta 3 days before their flight, asking them to select their first choice meal from Delta's latest seasonal, regionally-influenced menu.
Depending on the destination, menus will feature creations by Delta's in-house culinary team or the airline's partner chefs like Japanese chef Norio Ueno and Korean chef Woo-Joong Kwon.
Meals will be complemented by a selection of wines curated by Andrea Robinson. Andrea's fall wine menu includes selections like Monte Real Reserva Tempranillo 2012 and Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc-Viognier 2016.
