Ethiopian Airlines has been crowned “Best African Airline” at Arabian Travel Awards 2008 held on September 20, 2018 in Dubai.

According to Mr. Tewolde GebreMariam, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, the award was a testimony that the airline's product and services meet the expectations of customers from the Middle East.

Ethiopian flies to 12 destinations in the Middle East and thrice daily to Dubai, connecting travelers from the Middle East to over 115 destinations worldwide including over 60 in Africa.

In line with its long term growth plan, Ethiopian will continue to expand its fleet and global destinations ultimately creating even better connectivity options for travellers around the world.

The Arabian Travel Awards recognize and encourage talents in the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors. The winners of the award were determined based on the votes of travelers.

Ethiopian is a multi-award winning airline registering an average growth of 25% in the past seven years.
