Morocco’s national carrier, Royal Air Maroc will launch a new service between Casablanca and Miami, Florida in the United States of America with effect from 3 April, 2019. The new direct service will be the only passenger service connecting Florida to Africa. It will also be Miami International Airport’s (MIA) first regular passenger service to Africa since 2000. The new route will be operated three times a week using a two-class Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner offering 18 business class seats and 255 economy class seats. Flights will depart Casablanca at 11:20am and arrive Miami at 19:05. Return flight will depart Miami at 20:45 and arrive Casablanca at 05:55 (+1 day). All times are in US Eastern Time. The new service will provide Royal Air Maroc's passengers flying from Miami convenient connections to destinations in Africa, Europe and Middle East via its hub in Casablanca. Founded in 1957, Royal Air Maroc is Morocco’s largest airline. It currently has a fleet of 55 aircraft and flies to over 90 domestic and international destinations. Royal Air Maroc flies to other destinations in the US including New York and Washington, D.C. which it has been serving for almost 40 years.
