Akwaaba ATM 2018: NCAC to Present Nigerian Food Culture


The Nigerian Council of Arts and Culture (NCAC) will be Presenting Nigeria food Culture at The Nigerian day at 2018 Akwaaba African Travel Market holding in Lagos in September.

According to the NCAC DG Otunba Runsewe, Nigerians need to project their rich culture in different manners as Nigeria's rich Cuisine is worthy of global acclaim.

The President of the World Craft Council wants guests to visit the NCAC stand to learn more about NAFEST and other Cultural events in Nigeria. Nigeria day is on 9th September.

The 2018 Akwaaba ATM will also feature the second edition of the jollof rice war which will be declared open by Senator Florence Ita Giwa who is a promoter of African Cuisine.

The Culinary Tourism Contest which will hold on 11 September, will involve professional chefs from the 3 West African Countries of Nigeria, Ghana and The Gambia.

Last year 25 chefs from Ghana and Nigeria participated in the first jollof rice war. This year Gambia will be represented by Mrs. Ida Cham of Yabouy Home Cooking as it seeks to renew its presence in Nigeria.

The leading Tourism Destination in Middle East and Africa, Dubai will be attending the 2018 Akwaaba ATM with over 15 companies set to exhibit at the popular travel and tourism show.

Good location astounding but the staffs are rude and they make me wait so long for the service. They charge me more than what is on the website and did not refund me the manager is not helping with the issue
