Ethiopian Airlines has finalized preparations to launch new flight services to Barcelona, Spain with effect from July 01, 2018.

The four-weekly service will be linked to the airlines existing service to Madrid also in Spain. Ethiopian Airlines will deploy the ultra-modern Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner on the service.

Outbound will operate on Tuesdays,Thursdays,Saturdays and Sundays while inbound will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Barcelona will become Ethiopian Airlines second destination in Spain, after Madrid, and the airlines 13th destination in Europe.

The new service will provide seamless connectivity options for business and leisure travellers from Barcelona to Ethiopian's extensive African network of 58 destinations via Addis Ababa.

Barcelona, the capital and largest city of Catalonia and the second most populous municipality of Spain, is also the second largest trade fair and exhibition Centre in Europe.

Ethiopian Airlines operates the youngest and most modern fleet in Africa and currently flies to more than 110 international passenger and cargo destinations across five continents.
