Kenya Airways yesterday, commenced non-stop service between Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi and Cape Town, South Africa.

The launch of the non-stop flights to Cape Town is in line with the airline’s strategy to expand connectivity across Africa and open up opportunities for tourism, trade and investment.

The three weekly non-stop flights to Cape Town will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays departing Nairobi airport at 3:30pm.

The new service brings to 10 the number of weekly flights to Cape Town as it already operates four weekly flights via Livingstone, Zambia and three weekly flights via Victoria Falls Falls.

Kenya and South Africa are important trading partners. A number of South African firms have expanded into Kenya while thousands of Kenyans are frequent travelers to South Africa.

A member of the Sky Team Alliance, Kenya Airways is a leading African airline flying to 51 destinations worldwide, 42 of which are in Africa.
