Turkish Airlines will launch flight operations between Istanbul and two African cities of Dakar in Senegal and Banjul in the Gambia with effect from November 26, 2018.

The new flights to Dakar and Gambia are linked and will operate two times a week, with outbound on Mondays and Fridays using a Boeing 737-900.

The new service will provide passengers from Senegal and the Gambia connections to global destinations such as London, Dubai, Paris, Frankfurt, Stockholm, Brussels, Amsterdam, Vienna, Düsseldorf, Milan etc.

With existing services to Accra, Lagos, Bamako, Conakry, Dakar, Abidjan, Cotonou, Douala, Yaounde, N’Djamena, Ougadougou, Niamey, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Freetown and more, the new services will bring Turkish Airlines destinations in Africa to 54.

Turkish Airlines flies to more countries and international destinations than any other airline in the world. It currently flies to 303 destinations in 121 countries with a fleet of 327 aircraft.
