Milestone: Air France’s Joon Carries One Millionth Passenger

On 25 May, 2018, Air France’s new subsidiary, Joon carried its one millionth passenger on board since its first commercial flight on 1st December 2017.
The customer, who was travelling on the flight from Rome to Paris-Charles de Gaulle, was greeted on arrival in Paris by Jean-Michel Mathieu, Joon's CEO, together with the crew.
The lucky passenger was presented with gifts including a return flight for two people to medium-haul destination of their choice, a pair of Joon "Le Coq Sportif" sneakers and other surprises.
Targeted at young people, Joon was established in 2017 and commenced operations on 1 December 2017, serving destinations within Europe, Americas, Middle East and Africa.
In just six months, Joon has expanded and now flies regionally to Berlin, Barcelona, Porto, Lisbon, Oslo, Rome, Naples and Istanbul.
On the international routes, Joon now flies to Cairo, Cape Town, Fortaleza, Mahe, Tehran and, starting on 18 June, Mumbai.
