Summer Travels: British Airways Launches Free Flights for Children
Families look set to get their summer off to a head start and keep it closer to home thanks to a partnership between British Airways and some of the UK’s biggest airports.
The airline is offering free flights for children under 12 who travel with a full paying adult on journeys between Heathrow and Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Leeds, Newcastle and Belfast.
The partnership means up to two children can fly for free when travelling with an adult. It can be used on Euro Traveller tickets booked from now until May 13, for travel from June 1 until November 5, 2018. Find out more and book online at ba.com/kids-fly-free.
Passengers can fuel up before their flight at Terminal 5, with Heathrow’s Kids Eat Free offer at Gordon Ramsay Plane Food and Huxleys Restaurant and Bar, while the Heathrow Express offers family ticket with children aged 15 years and under can travel for free.
There are also kids-eat-free deals at selected Marriot Hotels during a family stay and 15 per cent off at London’s KidZania.
Kids fly free applies to children who are under 12 at the start of the journey. The offer is valid on one-way and return tickets only from London Heathrow Airport.
Flights must be booked between 12:00 April 16, 2018 and 23:59 May 13, 2018 and travel must be taken between June 1, 2018 and November 5, 2018.
