Marsa Malaz Kempinski Doha Gets HACCP Certification
Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl - Doha has received the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) global certification for complying with the highest level of food safety standards and regulatory and statutory requirements.
The certification was given by Bureau Veritas, leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) services.
HACCP is the international platform for legislation and food manufacturing practices for all sectors of the food industry, developed in the 1960s by a team of scientists and engineers to produce “zero defects” food products for NASA astronauts.
It provides a framework to produce foods safely and to prove they were produced safely based on a systematic approach to the identification, evaluation and control of food safety hazards.
