Virgin Atlantic Increases Frequency Between London and Johannesburg

Virgin Atlantic will increase the frequency of its London Heathrow-Johannesburg service from once daily to twice daily from 28 October, 2018.

The second daily service will be operated by a Boeing 787-9. Outbound flight will depart London Heathrow at 16:45 and arrive Johannesburg at 05:40 the following day. Inbound fight will leave Johannesburg at 22:20 and arrive London Heathrow at 07:30 the next day.

The additional service will offer customers easy connections onto Virgin Atlantic and Delta flights to over 200 US destinations, including Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Passengers on the new service will take advantage of Virgin Atlantic’s three new ways to fly economy: Economy Delight, Economy Classic and Economy Light tickets.

Virgin Atlantic currently operates a daily service between London Heathrow and Johannesburg using a Boeing 787-9. Passengers can purchase tickets for the new frequency as from 24 March.
