Dana Air and ASKY Sign Interline Agreement for Strategic Partnership

An interline agreement has been reached between one of Nigeria's leading airlines Dana Air and ASKY Airline, Africa’s regional power house, in Lagos on Saturday.

Dana Air’s strategic route and fleet expansion program also received a major boost, with the signing of an aircraft partnership agreement with ASKY to add some new generation aircraft to its fleet.

According to the Group Managing Director of Dana Air, Jacky Hathiramani who spoke at the signing ceremony in Lagos, Dana Air shall be adding some brand new aircraft to its fleet soon.

Jacky Hathiramani also said the airline had had advanced talks with some aircraft manufacturers and will very soon retake delivery of some of their aircraft following maintenance abroad.

"We want to assure our guests of our commitment towards providing safe, reliable, affordable and world-class air transport services in Nigeria.’’ he said.

Also speaking at the signing ceremony, the CEO of ASKY Airlines, Mr Ahadu Simachew said Dana Air is apparently the most experienced and well-managed airline in Nigeria, with a very strong, passionate and creative management team.

Dana Airline having flown over 2.7 million passengers in the last 9years of its operation is Nigeria’s first new world carrier, offering premium services at affordable rates.

The airline with over 25 daily flights from Lagos to Abuja, Uyo, Port Harcourt, and Owerri is reputed for its innovative online product, on-time performance and world-class in-flight service.
