RwandAir, the national carrier of the Republic of Rwanda will soon commence flights to Abuja in Nigeria and Cape Town in South Africa.

The East African airline will operate four weekly flights from Kigali to Cape Town via Harare. The Abuja flight will be linked to the existing Accra route, it will also be operated four times a week.

The new services to Abuja and Cape Town will boost economies in terms of tourism and trade as well as enhance bilateral relationship between Rwanda and Nigeria and South Africa.

Commonly referred to as the Mother City, Cape Town is a port city in South Africa. Top tourist attractions include the Table Mountain, Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope and Robben Island.

Abuja is the capital city of Nigeria. It’s top tourist attractions include Aso Rock, Gurara waterfalls, Millennium Park, National Ecumenical Center and the Abuja National Mosque.

RwanaAir is yet to announce the exact dates for the commencement of the new routes. When launched, the two new destinations will take RwandAir’s global destinations to 26.
