DoKaSch Temperature Solutions, the provider of climate-controlled solutions for air cargo, has welcomed Ethiopian Airlines as a new client for its Opticooler.

The partnership with DoKaSch’s Opticooler will allow Ethiopian Airlines customers a highly reliable packaging solution to transport temperature-sensitive shipments.

Since February, Ethiopian Airlines has been offering DoKaSch’s active container, the Opticooler, to fly goods through its hub in Addis Ababa.

The Opticooler is equipped with battery powered cooling compressors and heaters and a self-regulating temperature control, so that temperature of sensitive goods, especially pharmaceuticals such as insulin and vaccines, stay well within range at any point in the storage area.

Ethiopian Airlines is the most successful African carrier and their hub in Addis Ababa develops very positive regarding the cargo handling.

This year, the largest cargo terminal in Africa was opened at Bole International Airport, Addis Ababa. The airport is especially focused on cargo handling of temperature-sensitive goods.

Based in Kelsterbach, Germany, DoKaSch is a logistics company providing state-of-the-art climate-control solutions for air shipment of temperature-sensitive cargo.
