Proflight Zambia has added a new mid-afternoon flight between Ndola and Lusaka to meet the additional demand spurred by its recent decision to lower fares.

Return flights from Lusaka to Ndola, Livingstone and Solwezi now cost K1,550 excluding taxes. Proflight’s new flight will be the fourth return flight per day that the airline operates on the route.

The additional flight will be operated predominantly with the airline’s 29-seat Jetstream 41 aircraft, with periodic upgrades to a 50-seat CRJ-100 jet.

Flight P00306 will leave Lusaka at 15:00hrs, arriving Ndola at 15:45hrs, with P00307 returning from Ndola 16:15hrs and landing in Lusaka at 17:00hrs with effect from February 1.

Proflight will continue with the flights until the end of March and then assess whether to continue with the additional flight.
