It was an early Christmas for a group of 254 school children who were on 17 November, given full airline experience by Air Seychelles as part of a fun-filled educational tour of its aircraft.

The children who were from La Misère, Glacis, English River and Les Mamelles elementary schools, visited the airline to learn more about aviation for a transportation project on their curriculum.

After arriving at Seychelles International Airport, the kids were taken on a guided tour of an Airbus A320 following which they boarded an Airbus A330, where they had a chance to experience the inflight products and services of Air Seychelles.

Apart from learning about the two aircraft types, the children tried out the inflight entertainment systems onboard the A330. They also experienced the dining service as they were served a chicken and pasta Economy Class menu for lunch.

In addition, the highest academic achievers from each school were “upgraded” to Business Class where they could experience the lie-flat seats.

The children were looked after by a team of two pilots Juan Romain and Bertrand Mein and nine Air Seychelles cabin crew.

The children were also provided with Air Seychelles gift bags at the end of their tour to take home as a souvenir of the day out.
