KLM Launches New Business Class Cabin on Airbus A330-300
To further enhance the onboard experience of its business class customers, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has started retrofitting its Airbus A330 fleet with new Business class cabin.
The first Airbus 330-300 to be fitted with the new World Business Class cabin interior made its first flight over the weekend to Havana as Flight KL723.
The upgrade will ensure that business class customers on the Airbus A330 fleet will experience similar onboard products available on the airlines' other wide body aircraft.
The refurbishment of the remaining A330-300s has already commenced with completion expected to be in July 2018. KLM’s A330-200s will follow and are expected to be completed in October 2018.
Designed by renowned Dutch designer, Hella Jongerius, the new World Business Class features full-flat seats which are 180 degrees reclinable and 206 cm long with in-seat power and improved privacy.
Other features of the new bisiness class cabin include brand-new personal entertainment system with an 18” screen, HD quality films and a touchscreen navigation menu in 12 languages.
KLM's Boeing 747, Boeing 777-200, Boeing 777-300 and the new Boeing 787 Dreamliners already have the new-style World Business Class cabins.
