Qatar Airways will launch a four-weekly service between Hamad International Airport and Thessaloniki International Aiport, Greece with effect from 27 March 2018.

The new service between Doha and Thessaloniki will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays by an Airbus A320 featuring 12 Business Class seats and 132 Economy Class seats.

With its current three daily flights to Athens, Greece’s capital, Qatar Airways operates 21 weekly flights to Greece which will increase to 25 with the new Thessaloniki service.

Thessaloniki, the airline’s second destination in Greece, is well-known for its many archaeological sites and historic structures, including its well-preserved Byzantine mosaics and walls.

This relatively small city is considered an open-air museum of Byzantine history, and offers a truly unique cultural experience for everyone.

Qatar Airways will be adding many more exciting destinations to its network in 2017 and 2018, including Canberra, Australia; Chiang Mai, Thailand; and Penang, Malaysia.
