EgyptAir, in partnership with Optiontown, is bringing their passengers the ever popular Upgrade Travel Option (UTo), offers them a choice for upgrading from Economy class to Business class at a nominal fee.

Only a limited number of options are offered for each flight based on availability of Business seats and other factors, hence a UTo sign-up does not guarantee an upgrade.

How to use UTo to get upgrade?

Using UTo is very simple, you just need to sign up for it using the following steps:

• Visit www.optiontown.com and select Upgrade Travel Option (UTo). Provide your Booking Reference, Last Name and Email to retrieve your booking.

• Select the flight you would like to be upgraded.

• Pay a nominal upgrade price.

• You will receive e-mail prior to your departure notifying you if your upgrade was successful. If it was not possible to upgrade your flight, the upgrade price will be fully and automatically refunded to you within five business days after the flight departure.​

For Frequent Flyer Passengers, the miles will not be gained even on the original economy class after upgrading with Optiontown. The upgrade is not eligible for tickets issued against miles and for tickets issued on some economy classes.
