Austrian Airlines to Launch Flight Service to Cape Town

Austrian Airlines will launch direct flight services between Vienna, the capital of Austria and Cape Town, South Africa with effect from October 2018.

The two weekly flights will be operated by the airline's yet-to-be-delivered brand new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft which will have three classes.

Flight service from Vienna to Cape Town will only be offered in the winter flight schedule on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

In addition to the regular Economy and Business Classes, Cape Town passengers will also be able to fly in Premium Economy class which will debut on the new Boeing 777 aircraft.

The flight time from Vienna to Cape Town is about 11 hours 25 minutes. Tickets can be booked starting on October 27, 2017 at www.austrian.com.

Austrian Airlines, aka Austrian, is the flag carrier of Austria and a subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group. The airline is headquartered at Vienna International Airport in Schwechat where it also maintains its hub.
