EgyptAir is to launch a direct scheduled flight between Cairo International Airport and Tokyo Narita International Airport, Japan starting from October 29, 2017.

The service which aims at connecting Japan to Egyptian tourist cities in winter flights schedule will operate only once per week on Saturdays.

According to Safwat Musallam, chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Holding Company, EgyptAir and the Japanese side are working together to have necessary permissions to resume these flights.

EgyptAir plans to operate its latest Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with capacity for 346 passengers, on the new flights to Narita, Japan.
