Dar-es-Salaam based Air Tanzania is augmenting its current all-turboprop fleet of one Dash 8-300 and two Dash 8-400s with a Bombardier CRJ-100, reports Ch-aviation.
According to the reports, the Tanzanian state-owned carrier is wet-leasing ZS-CMH from CemAir, a South African ACMI/charter specialist.
AIr Tanzania is in the process of relaunching its operations following President John Magafuli's decision to revamp the East African state's moribund public institutions last year.
The airline, through state-owned lessor TGF - Tanzanian Government Flight, is in line to receive two CS300s and one Dash 8-400 from Bombardier and one Boeing 787-8 from Boeing.
