South African Airways Cargo (SAA Cargo) has won the Best Cargo Airline-Africa award at the 2017 Air Cargo Airline of the Year awards hosted by Air Cargo News.

The awards are an annual gala event where the air cargo industry gathers to recognize the very best of the industry across 14 categories. The awards are voted by the readers of Air Cargo News.

The airfreight industry awards which held at the Lancaster London Hotel, was hosted by British television, stage and film comedian Stephen Mangan, and was attended by more than 300 industry professionals.
