Air Peace Receives IATA Safety Audit (IOSA) Certificate

Less than three years after it commenced operations, Nigeria's Air Peace has officially joined the league of airlines certified by the International Air Transport Association Operational Safety Audit (IOSA).

The IOSA certificate was presented to the Chairman of the airline, Barrister Allen Onyema yesterday by the IATA Area Manager West Africa, Dr. Samason Fatokun.

According to Dr Fatokun, the presentation of the IOSA certificate to Air Peace means that they have met all the requirements and complied with all safety standards and practices in their operations.

The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) program is an internationally recognized and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline.

Headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, Air Peace was founded in 2013 and currently operates a fleet of 12 aircraft on scheduled services to major Nigerian cities as well as Accra in Ghana.

The airline is in the process of launching international operations to Guangzhou (China), Dubai (UAE), Atlanta (USA), Mumbai (India) and Johannesburg (South Africa).
