Nigeria's privately owned and fastest growing airline, Air Peace, has passed the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Operational Safety Audit (IOSA).

The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) program is an internationally recognized and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline. All IATA members are IOSA registered and must remain registered to maintain IATA membership.

With the IOSA certification, Air Peace's customers can now be assured that the airline complies with the most stringent of rules and practices governing aviation safety.

Air Peace was founded in 2013 and currently operates a fleet of 12 aircraft on scheduled services to major Nigerian cities as well as Accra in Ghana.

The airline is in the process of launching international operations to Guangzhou (China), Dubai (UAE), Atlanta (USA), Mumbai (India) and Johannesburg (South Africa).

Regionally, Air Peace also plans to fly to Niger, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Ghana, Senegal, Cameroon and Congo.
