It would appear that she is already destined for the skies either as a pilot or as a cabin crew or even as a frequent flyer flying free for life. This is the story of little “Kadiju” who was born on a flight yesterday.

A female passenger yesterday afternoon gave birth to a bouncing baby girl on a Turkish Airlines flight flying from Conakry, Guinea to Istanbul, Turkey.

Diaby Nafi from Guinea who is also a French Citizen, had entered into labour a little after the Boeing 737-900NG aircraft took off from the Conakry International Airport, Guinea. And with the assistance of the cabin crew the baby girl was safely delivered and was immediately named “Kadiju”.

The captain of the flight declared emergency and landed in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso where mother and her new baby received appropriate post partum attention before the flight later flew to Istanbul.

Announcing Kadiju's birth on its social media pages, Turkish Airlines praised its cabin crew for their professionalism in handling the situation.

"Welcome on board Princess! Applause goes to our cabin crew!", Turkish Airlines said.
