TAP Portugal will bring Portugal even closer to Africa when it commences a new four weekly scheduled passenger service between Lisbon International Airport, Portugal and Lomé, Togo on 17 July 2017.
The flights between Lisbon and Lomé will operate via Accra, Ghana on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays using an Airbus A320 aircraft with capacity for 165 passengers.
The new service to Lome will become TAP Portugal's 16th destinations in Africa. In the summer of 2017, TAP’s capacity of passengers to Africa will increase by nearly 20%, and the number of flights by 22%.
The Lomé–Tokoin International Airport has a traffic capacity of 2 million passengers per year. A business destination and home to many that live in European countries.
