RwandAir to Commence Direct Flights to London in May

RwandAir will launch its first ever service to Europe in the second quarter of the year with the commencement of a direct flight between Kigali and London Gatwick with effect from 26 May 2017.

The three weekly Kigali-London Gatwick service will be operated using the airline’s newly acquired state of the art Airbus A330-200 aircraft.

RwandAir's Airbus A330-200 is WiFi-enabled and is configured to carry a total of 264 passengers including 20 in business class, 21 in premium economy and 223 in economy cabin.

Earlier in February, RwandAir announced that it would commence a four weekly service flights to Mumbai, India on April 3 using its brand new two-class Boeing 737-800NG.

RwandAir currently operates 11 aircraft on scheduled flights to 19 destinations including Nairobi, Entebbe, Mombasa, Bujumbura, Lusaka, Juba, Douala, Dar es Salaam, Kilimanjaro, Cotonou, Johannesburg, Dubai, Lagos, Libreville and Brazzaville.
