Kenya based Astral Aerial Solutions has won the 2017 IATA Air Cargo Innovation Award for its Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Traffic Management (UTM) Concept for Africa.
The award was presented at the 11th World Cargo Symposium (WCS) held in Abu Dhabi from 14 to 16 March 2017.
Astral Aerial’s project seeks to lay the foundation for safe, secure and effective UAS operations and integration into existing airspace to ultimately allow the expansion of air cargo in Africa.
An independent jury which included industry experts, academics and CEOs of leading logistics companies evaluated 46 entries from across the industry from small start-ups to large multinationals.
The IATA Innovation Awards were launched in 2014 to encourage and promote innovation in the air cargo industry.
Astral Aviation is a licensed cargo airline with its Head Office and Base at the Africa Flight Services Cargo Terminal at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi.
Astral operates a fleet of Fokker 27, DC9 and Boeing 727-200 Freighters within its intra-African network, in addition to a wet-leased Boeing 747-400 Freighter on its Nairobi - London and Liege sector.

Prices in the Sol Torremolinos Don Pablo are the same than two weeks ago.
Good location astounding but the staffs are rude and they make me wait so long for the service. They charge me more than what is on the website and did not refund me the manager is not helping with the issue
