Etihad Airways has been spreading a little happiness to guests flying out of Abu Dhabi International Airport in celebration of this year’s International Day of Happiness on Monday 20 March.

The airline arranged a piano performance at Terminal 3 of Abu Dhabi International Airport, by the first UAE national female music composer, Eman Al Hashimi, while two lucky passengers won Etihad Airways upgrade.

The winners, Mubarak Al Jneibi and Jumaa Al Jneibi were welcomed by Etihad Airways management at the airport to surprise them with the gift.

The International Day of Happiness (“Happiness Day”) was founded by United Nations adviser Jayme Illien on June 28, 2012. It is celebrated throughout the world on the 20th of March.
