Nigeria's Med-View Airlines will expand its scheduled flight operations to Dubai as well as three of the French speaking countries of West Africa with effect from April this year.

The Airline's CEO Alhaji Muneer Bankole, while speaking with journalists on Friday, said that the airline would launch flight operations to Dakar Senegal, Guinea (Conakry) and Abidjan in Ivory Coast.

The airline will also commence Lagos-Dubai route in April, which according to the CEO, had been in the pipeline for over two years.

Bankole also revelaed that the airliner will also commence its international flights to Baltimore and Washington DC in United Sates soon.

“Before now, we have to go to Benin Republic to travel to USA. You can see the sufferings, before the end of the year, we will start transporting passengers to the U.S.,” he said.

Additionally, the airline promised to enhance its services to passengers travelling to either Saudi Arabia or Jerusalem.

As part of plans to boost its operations, Medview Airlines on 31 January, 2017 listed a total of 9.75 billion shares of 50k at N1.50 per share each on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
