Kenya Airways on Wednesday, cancelled a flight after a passengers died onboard one of its aircraft at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi.

The passenger who was reportedly in his late 60's died when his plane bound for Mombasa was preparing for departure.

The man who reportedly died at about 1.30pm, was traveling with his family back to Mombasa after he had undergone medical treatment in Nairobi.

According to fellow passengers on the same plane, the man looked unwell and was assisted by ground crew and staff board the plane.

Kenya Airways Flight KQ 606 had been scheduled to depart Nairobi for Mombasa at 1.40pm on Wednesday but was cancelled because of the incident.
