If you are looking to catch up with the news headlines or just to know what your favourite sports team has been up to during your flight, then the KLM Media app is your new travel companion.

KLM now offers all of its customers a wide selection of newspapers and magazines optimized for reading on smartphones and tablets, at no extra charge.

From 30 hours before the departure of your flight, you can log in with your Flying Blue account, KLM account or booking code and download Dutch and international media and read them online or offline.

The number of downloadable media varies from 1 newspaper and 1 magazine to the entire collection depending on your travel class and Flying Blue status.

Interestingly, if you are not booked on any KLM flight, you can still download and enjoy the airline's latest inflight magazines for free.

The app is available worldwide in Dutch, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Simplified Taiwanese and is available for iOS and Android.

Newspapaer available on the app include Holland Herald, Le Monde, New York Times, USA Today, Financial Times, Wallstreet Journal, Die Welt, China News Weekly, China Times etc.
