The inaugural flight was operated on Wednesday, January 25, with 40 passengers aboard a 50-seater Bombardier CRJ100 aircraft.
According to the airline’s chief executive officer, a second Bombardier CRJ100 aircraft is expected to join the airline's fleet within the first four months of operation and will be used for route expansion.
The CEO also said that the airline will add more routes to its network including Nairobi, Lubumbashi-Kinshasa, Durban, Johannesburg, Beira, Maputo and some domestic destinations.
