Nigeria's Maple Aviation Logistic Limited has announced plans to commence scheduled flight services to Port Harcourt and Abuja in partnership with a fixed wing operator.

According to the Chief Executive Officer, Maple Aviation, Mr. Folarin Adesemowo, the arrangement will enable high profile business travellers to fly from Lagos to Abuja and Port Harcourt in comfort and luxury without chartering a private jet.

The carrier in a statement said they would lease a 37-seater ERJ-135 aircraft from a local operator of the type for the flights from Lagos to Abuja and Port Harcourt Omagwa. Flights from Lagos to Abuja will operate twice daily and three times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays), while service to Port Harcourt will be twice daily.

According to Mr. Folarin Adesemowo, the flights will depart on scheduled and will only be cancelled due to weather conditions.
