RwandAir has, in partnership with Airbus Foundation and Aviation Sans Frontières, delivered humanitarian goods to Rwandan less privileged.

The goods weighing 1.2 tons were donated on Friday as Christmas presents to “Izere Mubyeyi” a Kigali based NGO which cares for intellectually and physically disabled children and youth.

The supplies included clothes, toys and medical supplies, including support equipment such as wheelchairs and canes for women, men and children.

As part of its corporate social responsibility, RwandAir continues to participate in economic, social and environmental development initiatives in the various markets it serves.

Izere Mubyeyi has been sensitizing the community on the rights of children and youth with intellectual disabilities and has contributed for over a decade to their education and recovery.

The NGO’s center currently takes care of 122 children between the ages of one and twenty seven years old.
