Medview Reduces Baggage Allowance on London Service

Medview Airlines has with immediate effect reviewed downwards it baggage allowance for both economy and business passengers on its Lagos-London Gatwick service.

According to the airline, the reasons for the reduction of baggage allowance include baggage handling logistics and safety concerns.

"The logistics of handling is worrisome and sometimes lead to delay departure of our flights. This is affecting the core value on which our brand is built and at the same time a safety concern hence, we are constrained at this time to review with immediate effect our allowed baggage limit policy to accommodate only 54kg and 70kg for economy and business class passengers respectively.

This decision is hard to take for the management of the company but above all it is considered to be in the over-all best interest of the company and our beloved customers. Safety is paramount!" the airline said in a statement.

However, while the airline may have good operational reasons for this, the obvious question on the lips of its passengers will be "why now".
