Nigeria's Azman Air has taken delivery of its fourth aircraft. The Boeing 737-500 nicknamed 'Alhaji Abdullahi Inusa Sarina' touched down at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport yesterday evening following a delivery flight from The U.K.

The airline's President (Dr) Abdulmunaf Yunusa Sarina was on hand to receive representatives from the Kano State Government, The Emirate Council and business community who had come to welcome the aircraft.

According to the airline, the additional aircraft will enable them to fly to more routes in Nigeria.

"Our mission is to fly to at least one city in each of the 6 geopolitical regions in the short term. Our vision remains that we operate 10 aircrafts by October 2017 and we believe is achievable." said the airline's General Manager Alhaji Sule.

In addition to expanding their domestic flight services, Azman Air says it will introduce regional routes in west Africa.
