If sleeping in the airport is important to you when you travel, these are the airports you might want to consider flying into. The following are the 2016 best airports for sleeping according to The Guide to Sleeping in Airports annual survey.

10. Zurich Kloten International Airport, Switzerland (ZRH)

Zurich Airport is supremely efficient, organized and tidy. Impeccably clean floors and armrest-free benches delight those in need of some sleep, as does the generally dim lighting and the hour of free Wi-Fi.

9. Tallinn International Airport, Estonia (TLL)

Estonia’s Tallinn Airport is proof that good things really do come in small packages. Extremely comfortable and clean, and very well organized. With easy layout, modern facilities, cafes, comfortable chairs, free sleep pods, free Wi-Fi, travellers feel truly at home.

8. Helsinki Airport, Finland (HEL)

Helsinki Airport’s clean, passenger-friendly terminals help to make it a global favourite. Lovely architecture and pleasant staff make it an airport full of travel comforts. The free sleep pods are one of the most unique features of the terminal, as well as the free Wi-Fi and 24-hour food options.

7. Vancouver International Airport, Canada (YVR)

Putting North America on the list, Vancouver Airport, Canada’s ultra-friendly west coast hub first wows visitors with stunning architecture and locally-inspired First Nation’s art. And, in true Canadian fashion, the staff are incredibly co-operative, polite and helpful.

6. Osaka Kansai International Airport, Japan (KIX)

Formerly in 17th place, Osaka Kansai Airport moved up to sixth place thanks to a new area devoted entirely to airport sleepers. With long benches and a free blanket lending service, you’re likely to get an especially good airport snooze in here.

5. Munich International Airport, Germany (MUC)

Munich Airport is the first non-Asian airport to claim a top ranking spot. MUC has the essentials - cleanliness, customer service and overall organization - down to a science. However, it’s things like the free morning coffee and excellent food that begin to take it a step above the rest.

4. Taipei Taoyuan International Airport, Taiwan (TPE)

Taipei Taoyuan Airport dazzles travellers worldwide with its enthusiasm and exuberance. Perhaps the world’s most creative airport, every gate has a different theme, ranging from environmental conservation to SONY products, and from tea shops to the Hello Kitty.

3. Tokyo Haneda International Airport, Japan (HND)

Tokyo Haneda Airport secured the number three spot, thanks to its extreme cleanliness and efficiency. Travellers always find staff who are calm, cool and collected. Those who sleep here leave rested and happy, thanks to armrest-free benches, attached hotel, and the sense of security.

2. Seoul Incheon International Airport, South Korea (ICN)

As the second best airport in Asia and the world, ICN provides a truly exceptional travel experience. Those with energy might opt to explore the cultural centre, the movie theatre, the gardens, the ice rink or free transit tours.

1. Singapore Changi International Airport, Singapore (SIN)

It should come as no surprise that once again, Singapore Changi Airport has come in, unequivocally, as the best airport in the world. The airport continues its two decade streak of wowing travellers with sparkling terminals, exceptional staff, boundless amenities and effortless navigation.

Wow! Stunning! Hilton seems to be taking Africa by storm. Just a couple of years back, they opened the first ever in Eswatini.

Thank you for sharing such a detailed review about ethiopian airlines in your post. I am an avid traveller and keep reading flight reviews to assess the options available. Your review particularly drew my attention because you have shared so many pictures to capture every aspect of the flight experience. It is a very nice effort.

I am really tempted to book the next ethiopian airlines ticket and relive your journey. The pictures shared with the post also reflect that you truly enjoyed the travel. Great post! I also like the fact that you have covered nuances about the food and entertainment service through the pictures. It helps people know what to expect on their travel by this airline.
