RwandAir Introduces New Products Aboard its A330-200

RwandAir has introduced new services aboard its newest airplane, an Airbus A330-200, to woo fresh customers, while retaining existing ones.

The Country Manager, Nigeria, Ibiyemi Odusi, disclosed this in Abuja last week at a forum with travel agents, saying customers can now enjoy a full flat bed in the business class cabin of the new aircraft.

According to her, the Airbus A330-200 comes in a configuration of 20 seats in the business class, 21 in premium economy and 223 in the economy cabin.


“With this new products, passengers now enjoy 2-pc luggage of 23kg each. We’ve premium economy and for business class passengers, they now enjoy 2-pc luggage of 32kg each.

“That’s not all, by May 2017, we’ll take delivery of two B737-800. So far, we’ve nine airplanes and we travel to many local, regional and international destinations. We operate the youngest fleet in Africa and our oldest airplane is four years old.


We operate the dream miles membership, which offers passengers extra baggage allowance, access to lounges even if you’re travelling on an economy ticket.

RwandAir also offers Internet onboard in the air. So your work doesn’t stop because you’re travelling”, she added.
