In furtherance of its continued commitment to youth empowerment across the country, Dana Air has supported the United Nations International Youth Day Celebration in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Tagged: 'Youth Leading Sustainability with special focus on eradication of poverty globally in 2030 through sustainable consumption and preservation, The United Nations International Youth Day, is observed annually on 12 August. It is an opportunity for governments and others to draw attention to youth issues worldwide.

According to the accountable Manager of Dana Air, Mr Obi Mbanuzuo, ‘’the present economic situation entails that we support the government in any way possible, to change the mind-set of the youth to come up with initiatives geared towards economic growth. We are committed the development of the youths in Nigeria and Africa in general and we will continue to partner and support projects that will serve as launch pad for our youths.’’

Dana Air, through its charitable trust- Sri Sai Verdana foundation, has been serving as avenue through which the airline fulfills her cooperate social responsibility to the society.
