ASKY Airline has taken delivery of its first Boeing 737-800 New Generation aircraft, officially received by the airline on Friday 2nd of June 2016 at Lomé International Airport.

The additional aircraft with a seating capacity of 154 configured with a dual-class (16 in Business and 138 in Economy) will reinforce the current fleet of ASKY made up of four Bombardier Dash 8 (Q400) and 3 Boeing 737-700.

The Boeing 737-800 is an environmentally friendly aircraft with efficient fuel consumption and protective against noise.

The introduction of this aircraft with a bigger capacity comes as an answer to market needs which will empower ASKYs network by offering more frequencies, seat and luggage capacity to large markets within the Sub region and Africa as a whole.

The aircraft has already been deplored to large markets within the airline's network such as Dakar, Kinshasa, Libreville, Douala, Abidjan, Yaoundé, Bamako, Lagos.
