Botswana police this week read about the murder and arraignment in court of Air Zimbabwe official official whose body was found near Ramokgwebana border last month.

The arrest of the four suspects, Dumisani Ncube, Artwell Ndiweni, Godfrey Mavhurafero and Mgcini Xaba, has been widely publicised in the Zimbabwean media but Assistant Commissioner Witness Bosija of Botswana Police toda said investigations into the murder were still ongoing.

“I saw the information about the arrest in the Zimbabwean media, but what I can tell you is that we have been working together with our Zimbabwean counterparts in tyhe investigations,” he said.

The Air Zimbabwe Public Relations executive, Shingai Dlhiwayo’s decomposed body was found by a herdboy in a bush about 5km from Ramokgwebana Border Post on May 7th.

She had allegedly been tied to a tree with her feet and hands bound while a piece of cloth was stuffed in her mouth.

Dhliwayo who had allegedly been strangled and bleeding from the nose was found a week after she went missing just after attending the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair.
