British Airways’ First customers can soon sip their champagne and other top tipples in new premium specially commissioned glassware by Crystal specialists Dartington Crystal.

The range includes a tumbler, brandy glass, wine glass, champagne flute and a deep crimson red water glass, to provide a burst of colour in the stylish understated cabin.

The new glassware from the Devon-based company will appear on flights throughout the year and enable customers in First to enjoy a wide selection of fine wines, spirits, soft drinks and prestigious champagnes, including Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle.

British Airways also offers customers flying in First a sophisticated and stylish suite, featuring a contemporary British design, allowing them to work, relax, dine and sleep in comfort.

As well as a bespoke service from attentive cabin crew, à la carte dining, fine wines and champagne, customers can also unwind in their six foot fully-flat bed to feel revived and refreshed once their flight arrives at its destination.
