According to eTurboNews, Proflight Zambia has set its sights on a new route to Mbala in response to the airline’s customer satisfaction survey.

Subject to regulatory approval, Proflight plans to begin scheduled flights between Lusaka and Mbala by June 2016. Flights will loaded in the system and available for booking from 23 May.

The flight from Lusaka to Mbala will enable travelers easily access Kasama, as well as tourist destinations on the shores of Lake Tanganyika.

Mbala is Zambia’s most northerly large town and provides a strategic location on the southern edge of Lake Tanganyika, close to the fishing port of Mpulungu and the border with Tanzania.
