Qatar Airways will from 1 August upgrade its Doha-Bucharest service from daily to double-daily, in response to increased passenger demand to and from Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport in Romania.

The airline commenced service to Bucharest on 17 January 2011 and recently celebrated its fifth anniversary of serving passengers from Romania.

Offering enhanced connectivity and new flight times for passengers to and from Romania, the new flights will improve connectivity within the Qatar Airways network.

Bucharest-Doha route is served by an Airbus A320 aircraft, offering individual seat-back television screens featuring a choice of up to 2,000 entertainment options.
