An Abuja bound Medview Airlines Boeing aircraft made an air return to the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Ikeja, Lagos on Thursday morning as the aircraft developed pressurization problem at about 8,000 feet above sea level.

A pressurization problem was said to have affected the cooling system of the aircraft.

Aviation sources said the aircraft returned and landed safely while another aircraft was made available which flew passengers to Abuja.

Managing Director of Medview , Alhaji Muneer Bankole has confirmed the incident, saying, as an airline driven by safety, the crew took the professional decision rather than continuing with the flight to occasion passengers’ anxiety .

He said the airline immediately provided another aircraft for the passenger to return to Abuja after they disembarked from the airplane that made air return.

He said Medview Airlines as a carrier that was driven by safety had commenced steps to fix the aircraft that developed a minor challenge.
